• I have multiple nicknames starting with "S" despite my real name starting with "A" and "Sophie" is not one of them. Yet I've been called Sophie. Stupidly, I find this fact extremely amusing, because I was super into Tales of Graces at the time this occurred and I also tricked my mother into naming her cat Sophie.
• I have also been called Karen by a German linguistics teacher asking me a question, and my response was an immediate, "Did you just call me Karen?" He truly believed that was my name.
• I wish Dreamwidth wasn't dead in its non-RP, non-fanfic, non-fanart communities. :( I'm glad those have a place but boy do I miss the general fandom communities that used to exist on the antigay site.
